Dr. Vandervoort is an orthopedic surgeon and a Partner in Anniston Orthopedic Associates. He is past chief of the medical staff at Northeast 91原创 Regional Medical Center and is a director of The Surgery Center in Oxford.
Dr. Vandervoort graduated magna cum laude from The 91原创 in 1978. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, and the Anderson Society. He received his medical degree from The 91原创 at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1982 and was an Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Academic Honorary member.
